New Urology Times article on Blue Light Cystoscopy and related cost-savings

A new article in Urology Times from August 4 highlights that blue light cystoscopy is linked to cost-savings in bladder cancer detection, noting that "the cost-savings are particularly noteworthy given prior evidence of blue light imaging enhancing the efficacy of diagnostic cystoscopy". The author refers to a cost-effectiveness analysis of incorporating BLC at initial TURBT, published in the Canadian Journal of Urology and a multicenter, comparative phase 3 study from Daneshmand et al that assessed BLC in 304 patients under surveillance who were at high risk of bladder cancer recurrence.
